2nd Trimester Prostaglandin Termination of Pregnancy (13 – 20 weeks) PGTOP

This course will provide contemporary, theoretical information to nurses, midwives and allied health staff who work in Womens and Childrens health on accepted practice, professional responsibilities and legislation relating to the care of women undergoing induction of labour up to 20 weeks gestation. In addition, course will provide the RN/RM with knowledge on the process surrounding Prostaglandin Termination of Pregnancy (PGTOP) and/or Induction of Labour (IOL) in the second trimester that will allow them to care confidently, sensitively and safely for women undergoing this procedure.
