There are two modules within this course - Minute Taking and Chairing a Meeting.

The Minute Taking module is not only for our staff who are new to minute taking but also serves as a refresher for those who feel they need to upskill.  It introduces the role of the minute taker, the skills required and a suggested framework for the tasks.  Also, importantly, it takes the learner through the crucial relationship between a minute taker and a chairperson.

The Chairing a Meeting module provides you with an excellent overview of what a good Chair looks like and why it is so important to have the right skills to facilitate a well run meeting.  You'll find out what skills are required and how you can practise those skills.
