Health Essentials for Leadership and Management HELM

We are all experiencing challenging and unprecedented times! Because of this, many of us will need to work differently over the next few weeks.

Although working from home has a lot of benefits, it can also create challenges that may potentially reduce your productivity or cause unnecessary stress.

This short module will support you and your team with some step-by-step instructions to effectively set up your work environment, keep on track with your daily tasks and stay connected while working remotely.

This module is designed to introduce you to the 5P Process of running meetings. In addition, you'll learn about how to manage team behaviour and dynamics, and how to improve participation. When you reach the end of this module you'll: Understand the Five Ps of running effective meetings; know which tools to use to better run meetings; and, be more effective at facilitating discussions within your meetings.

  • What: Online Learning

  • Time: 15 mins

Great Facilitation

Often our roles require facilitation of small group discussions, running meetings, or encouraging others to share their thinking.  And many of us do it brilliantly.

And sometimes not so well.  We’re often frustrated with group discussions which go around in circles; are commandeered by a few individuals; or are really a lecture disguised as a discussion.

The skills for effective facilitation are easily learned - it’s a combination of knowledge, technique, practice – and confidence. This interactive workshop will equip you with techniques, tools and ideas for becoming the truly great facilitator we’re all capable of becoming.

Many of our roles require presenting information to a variety of audiences, or simply put - getting up and speaking in front of others. Most of us dread it.  This course gives you the skills and confidence to create a vibrant and memorable presentation – one which involves the audience in a way that makes sense to them; and ensures your message can truly stand out from the crowd.
