This course is a requirement for SMHS clinical staff. The topics covered will support staff to screen sensitively and respond appropriately to positive disclosures of violence and care and protection of children and young people. Family Safety is one of the priority areas for SMHS. The SMHS Family Safety programme aims to address the needs of the vulnerable members of our community who are, or may be, exposed to or experiencing abuse, neglect or violence and are involved in SMHS services.
